Who We Are A little about us

Full Cup LLC was established in 2023 by owner and Clinician Jess Rousselle. Full Cup LLC strives to ensure that anyone who is seeking counseling services can do so in a comfortable environment with staff and clinicians who genuinely care and want to help.
Full Cup LLC was established with the belief that everyone will be accepted no matter their walk of life, and that they will feel valued throughout the therapeutic process! In addition, we believe that talk therapy is just ONE PART of the healing whole, and are habitually looking for new ways to engage clients and introduce them to new ways of thought, through activities and experiences or connecting them to the appropriate supports and resources in the community.
Full Cup values AUTHENTICITY! We believe that good therapy happens only once you have established a great rapport with your therapist. We strive to hire therapists with different expertise and ideas on how to best help clients. We know that everyone does not get the same benefits from traditional psychotherapy, and it is our goal to offer OPTIONS for ways clients can get their therapeutic needs met.
Some of the approaches our clinicians draw from include the following: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral therapy , Mindfulness based approaches, spiritual practice/ psychotherapy combo and more!
Our Commitment
While we know that therapy, of all kinds, is an important piece of what we do, we additionally will work to find innovative ways to increase connections within the community by establishing after school leadership and advocacy groups as well as social and skill-based clubs for youth and adults.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know us and what we offer! We hope you will find exactly what you are looking for, however if you are not sure, please feel free to call for a free 15 min consultation to discuss your needs!

Growing up in a blended family with limited means, I have learned some about struggle. Even during the most difficult times however, I have found that there are things that can greatly influence your growth and development as a human; things like: having someone who believes in you, a full belly, hard work, love, and a lot of laughter. I try to incorporate these beliefs in my sessions with clients to help them attain their personal goals.
In addition to my personal beliefs and background, I hold a Bachelor’s degree from Plymouth State University, where I was also a proud student athlete, playing 4 years of Collegiate level softball (Go Panthers!). From there, I went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Boston University. My Most recent learning, has been completion of the Certificate program as an End-of-life Doula in March of 2025 through the University of Vermont as well as completing the Summer Institute Program at the Dougy Center in Portland Oregon in July of 2024. The Dougy Center is a world-renowned organization and model for working with bereavement in children.
My professional interests are working with youth and families struggling with inter-relational issues, anxiety, depression, transitioning to adulthood and PTSD. I am also passionate about helping those struggling with issues of death and dying, long term illness, grief and loss.

I have been interested in people’s stories for as long as I can remember! As a child, I have memories of asking my family members to tell me stories of their childhoods or of family members who I never had the chance to meet. Once I could read, forget about it! I loved to get acquainted with new characters and their worlds. As I got older and could read beyond the Berenstain Bears, I enjoyed exploring character development on a different level. I still enjoy reading, but these days, my interest in stories has expanded to other forms of media and pop culture. In addition to learning about you, I would LOVE to hear your thoughts on the most recent season of whatever show may be your “guilty” pleasure! Why am I sharing all of this, you may ask? I like to think these interests are part of the reason I pursued a career working with people. I love stories. I love how stories shape us and more importantly I love the power WE have to shape our own stories.
Like many people, I also grew up with family members and friends who have experienced mental health challenges. These stories became part of my story and contributed to my already existing desire to help people. This led me to study psychology at Saint Anselm College. I then went on to earn a Master’s degree at Salem State University and completed the requirements to earn my LMHC.
I have had the privilege of working in inpatient settings, at community-based mental health centers, and currently my full-time work is in a high school as a school clinician. I recently earned certifications in trauma-informed yoga, meditation, and somatic healing through the International Association of Yoga Teachers.
I would describe my therapy style as warm, non-judgmental, and skills-based, with some humor thrown in! I love the saying “If we don’t laugh, we will cry.” But crying is ok too! I can’t wait to meet you, and hear your story.

I love working with children and young adults! Like Mr. Rogers, I believe that feelings are mentionable and manageable. There is no feeling that is too scary to talk about and process. I utilize many approaches for therapy such as DBT, CBT, and psychodynamic theory.
When working with clients with ADHD or learning disabilities I combine therapeutic practices with executive functioning skills. I am an LGBTQ ally and my office is a safe space to process gender and sexuality questions. My therapy style is warm, unassuming, and nonjudgmental. I pay special attention to the inequitable systems that prevent people from accessing treatment and support.
I have a MSW from Simmons University where I specialized in school adjustment counseling. With experience in schools, outpatient clinics, and community mental health, I bring a well-rounded, collaborative approach to care, often working alongside parents, teachers, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive support.

From an early age, I was drawn to helping others. After earning my degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, I joined AmeriCorps, where I worked in Boston Public Schools. This experience made me realize the profound impact of positive relationships and support, and I continued my journey toward social work.
After my time with AmeriCorps, I earned a master’s Degree from Salem State University and spent five years advocating for children and families in complex situations. This role deepened my understanding of resilience and the need for nurturing environments. These experiences solidified my commitment to supporting individuals, leading me back to public schools to continue providing essential support.
In therapy, I approach my sessions with empathy, compassion, and insight; infused with a sense of humor—because laughter can be a powerful tool for healing! I try to create a safe and welcoming environment, as it is essential for fostering open communication and trust. I believe the therapeutic space, should be judgment-free and supportive and I strive to create that in our sessions. Together, we can explore your unique experiences, identify patterns, and develop strategies for navigating challenges. My aim is to empower you to gain greater clarity and confidence in your journey, helping you to not only understand your emotions but also to cultivate resilience and growth. No matter what challenges we are tackling in session, I’m here to support you every step of the way!

Through my own experience with loss and grief at a young age, I knew I wanted to help others navigate their own challenges. This personal understanding of grief, along with my passion for supporting children, youth, and adolescents, led me to a career in social work, where I specialize in working with individuals facing depression, anxiety, trauma, and loss.
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University of New Hampshire, minoring in child life, and my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Boston College. My professional experience spans adoption services, community mental health, and hospital-based care. I currently work full time at Boston Children’s Hospital, where I support patients and families through complex medical and emotional challenges.
In my practice, I take a strengths-based and collaborative approach, creating a space where individuals feel seen, heard, and empowered. I believe that healing happens through connection, and I strive to help my clients build resilience and find hope even in difficult times.
I am honored to walk alongside my clients as they work toward healing and personal growth!
